Nicholas K. Downing is a full-time blacksmith and jeweler based in Midcoast Maine, who has been blacksmithing for over 20 years. He makes everything from simple wall hooks and bottle openers to kitchen utensils, hammers, fine wood working tools, axes, knives, and decorative work like hardware, gates and sculpture. He also makes jewelry in precious (and non-precious) metal, stones and found material.
